Old Malton

Old Malton is half a mile to the north of Malton, past the Police Station and Ryedale House to the old village full of old houses and listed buildings. The village hall is on the right, halfway through the village and just past the Priory Church which must be one of the most wonderful churches in the land. Regular services are a feature of course but music and other artistic events are encouraged and promoted by the now retired, Rev John Manchester, the much loved and admired vicar of the church. . The Wentworth Arms is a picturesque pub on the exit to the village and THE place to have lunch before continuing onto Pickering.
