The town of Malton is situated mid way between York and Scarborough. We have been trading in the town for over fifty years and we consider the shop to be a meeting point for many of our customers who are by now, good friends. We are about half way up wheelgate which is the main shopping street. You are of course welcome to visit us if you are in Malton and please mention you saw us on this site.

We stopped selling cameras and camera equipment in 2013 but we still sell other photographic items, some are listed on this site. The shop is now owned by Lesley Dickinson, and Audrey and David Wakeley. If you need technical advice, it is better to visit the shop on Thursday and Friday when there will be someone there who can help.
We are very proud of our area and the Ryedale site is mainly intended to keep you in touch with what goes on in Malton and the surrounding area
