'MOORSIDE CHRISTMAS' VOL 2
This second CD in this series, contains a selection of pieces played at our Annual Carol Concerts, normally played in the Memorial Hall, Kirkbymoorside but we now play the concert at the new James Holt Concert Hall...
These festive concerts set the mood for the local community and at the same time raises money for the band's nominated charity. Over the years the band has raised many thousands of pounds for various charities far and wide. Our Carol Concerts are always free entry and the band members also give their time free in order to recognise the support that the band receives from the local community of Kirkbymoorside. We hope you enjoy this CD and we wish everyone a very Merry Christmas

Moorside Brass - 'Roots'

This CD is a collaboration between all playing groups within Kirkbymoorside Town Brass Band. It is a celebration of the hard work and dedication of our 130 strong members from Beginner, Learner, Community, Training, Shining Brass and Senior Bands. Having just completed building our very own 250-seat concert hall in 2019, this CD marks a wonderful time in the bands' history and is aptly named "Roots" due to our belief that teaching and encouraging players from their very first note enables them to not only grow and blossom as musicians, but as valued members of the local community too.
